Today, I want to discuss the technical terms of steel pipes with you. After reading this article, I believe that those who need steel pipes should know how to purchase them.
The first is the steel pipe specification, which is the outer diameter multiplied by the wall thickness. For example, 325 times 10 represents that the outer diameter of the steel pipe is 325 mm and the wall thickness is 10 mm. Calculation formula of theoretical weight per meter: (outer diameter wall thickness) x wall thickness x 0.02466.
The second is the wall thickness tolerance. In the production process, the actual size is difficult to meet the ideal requirements, so the national standard stipulates that the actual thickness is allowed to have a certain deviation. The thick one is called positive deviation, the thin one is negative deviation, and the national standard tolerance range is plus or minus 10%.
Finally, the delivery length. Take the straight seam steel pipe as an example. If there are no special requirements, our products are strictly in accordance with the requirements of the national standard, which is generally 6 meters long, with a length error of ± 3 cm.
So what do you mean by fixed ruler and multiple ruler? for instance. It was agreed that the delivery would be 3 meters at a fixed length of 3 meters. Three times the length of a foot means delivery of six meters, nine meters or twelve meters.
